Florida Soldiers in France: World War I

Below are resources related to the Floridians who served in France in 1918. It includes biographies, and several short, educational videos, which together provide an overview of the US role in the war. In addition, we have provided story maps of four Floridians who served, died and are buried in France. They are four of the fifteen we studied in 2018 who are buried at the Aisne-Marne and Meuse-Argonne American Cemeteries managed by the American Battle Monuments Commission. Our digital learning tools may be used in conjunction with our K-12 curricular materials, or as aids in any classroom setting or with any relevant assignment.
